Why Books are Better than Movies

Why Books are Better than Movies

Today I will explain why books are better than movies. But not only better, but they’re also more captivating, informative, and engaging.

Why Books are Better than Movies

First things first, a movie best lasts roughly two hours to an hour and a half. But a book can last as long as you’d like.

Secondly, the reader gets the opportunity to create their very own source, a cast, or a custom. For instance, you’re a big fan of Ryan Reynolds, guess you can spear love interest or at the start of the book. If you had a bad day at work and your boss made you mad, think about who gets to be the villain.

But lastly, the fantastic thing about reading and why it’s so far beyond surpasses movies is that there’s always a huge storyline of the book that they could ever put into the film. What truly needs to be understood about why book reading is reading the book is experiencing it.

Explore a New World with Books

You can still go see the movie. But you might have imagined it differently in your head. Many treasures are found and can be used further down the road in your life or even every day. In a book, a whole new world is explored. Well on the movie doesn’t even reverse the surface of that world. Not to mention reading a book is much cheaper than going to see a movie.

No Need to Hurry with Books

No Need to Hurry with Books

In reading a book, you have unlimited time to finish it, which means you can savor as long as you’d like. For the world to see is not fully seen by moviegoers, only parts the director-writer thought need to be included. Seems like a full story. They could consist of all the details from the book because they made that movie 18 hours long. That’s how much detailed storyline you’re missing when you don’t read the book.

For instance, in the hunger games, the cave scene lasts about ten minutes. But in the book, it’s four chapters long, that’s about 60 pages. So think about how much detail you’re missing. In books, you get the opportunity to create your very own cast. Some might even call it your Dreamcast, which means if you’re reading the great gatsby and in your mind, gatsby is your childhood neighbor. Or your childhood friend or George Clooney, that’s completely okay. Because you get to decide the matter. Or say gatsby’s house is your house or a house you’ve always wanted swimming that’s okay too.

Decide Who Play the Characters Yourself

Decide Who Play the Characters Yourself

In movies, a bunch of people you’ve never met or even spoken to you get to decide who plays this character. You’ve been captivated by. Doesn’t that sound so cold and lifeless? You spent time reading this book. You’ve laughed with this character. You’ve cried with this character. You’ve been scared with this character, and then a cast of directors gets to pick out an actor you don’t even like.

Like, let’s say you just read the longest ride and instead of them picking Scott Eastwood. Like they did, what if they would have chosen some off-the-wall character. He’d never even heard of who is it who you imagine it would be it’s pretty devastating. And I know the book readers out there understand where I’m coming from.

Every Detail is Important

Lastly, all things detail essential. If you were to buy a car, you would look for every detail you could obtain about that car? So why not it be the same for your entertainment that’s what books are better than films. Books let you feel everything and leave everything. While reading a book, you can be the hero until the demon with a twirl of your blade. This is such a well. Because it makes you feel like you can be that hero, and it’s true because you can. Because this point explains that you would see the character, and you would mean the character’s head.

It also creates a space in your mind that you could be the person viewing these fantastic things. In books, each of us is rich. In full, you need to please all of your senses. Authors will tell you little things that could never be seen or felt in the film.  In a book, you were engulfed in something strongly. Because the author put such intricate detailing with the storyline.

Say you’re reading a romantic novel, and they turn into a movie. You’re not going to feel those same butterflies you’re not going to feel that same step back home. Because they don’t put the same detail in the movie as they do in the book. In the book, you get to hear how fast their heart was beating, and you can’t see that in the movie. You get to see the girl take a deep breath in the book, and sometimes in the film, you don’t get those opportunities.

Bottom Line

Isn’t it wise to invest in something that will satisfy you longer than two hours? And you can achieve that, but only by buying a book what’s that book is picked up then you get the opportunity to decide who you want you to choose who the villains are. And if you want, you can be the hero, and you can be the villain if you wish. It’s all up to you because it’s your book and your imagination.

Then there’s the matter of getting to explore a world so deeply you feel like you’re part of it, and you feel like it’s who you are because of the detail you just through simple pages. I hope now you have learned why books are better than movies. It’s that books open up a world that you get the opportunity to 100%. Get lost in maybe movies may give you momentary bliss or even prolonged sound bliss. But books change you as a person.
